665 miles
Done in August 1989 on a stock 1987 Savage with a really bad hangover. The rider, not the Savage.
Probably exceeded that distance the day before but do not know the starting location. It was somewhere in Wisconsin.
Left the Sturgis rally on Saturday morning but had to have a breakfast drink (or 5) with new friends from Wisconsin first. Woke up at their house in Wilconsin on Monday. Do not know how I got there. Called my boss (I was supposed to be at work in Idaho), told him I would be there Wednesday, and headed generally south and west. Got to Gillette Monday and slept in a city park for a few hours then made it to Idaho on Tuesday.
Now you know why I don't drink and ride anymore.
